| INGREDIENTS | 1 cup Urad dal
¾th cup Red chilli
¼th cup Dry curry leaves (optional)
½ spoon hing (asafoetida)
4 spoons Salt | METHOD | 1. In pan, fry urad dal without oil till colour changes lightly. Stop the stove, add asafoetida and mix once.
2. Then put salt and red chillies and mix once. After it cools down, put all in mixie, add dry curry leaves if u have and dry grind it.
3. This goes well with Idli, Dosai, adai etc. You should add some Nalennai with the powder and eat. |
