Surti Ponkh


Ingredients
Available around Sankraanti (January) - A seasonal delight!

Ponkh is fresh green recently harvested sorghum or jowar
eaten while greens are still tender and juicy.

Ingredients:

Ponkh
Dry coconut chutney
Sev (really fine sev)
Crushed peanut mixture
Lemon
Corriander leaves
Dahi (optional)
Salt (optional)

Method
Microwave ponkh for 30 seconds. Then add crushed peanut chutney and dry coconut chutney. Mix lemon to taste. Add sev and garnish with corriander leaves.

Another variation is to add dahi instead of lemon.

Enjoy with a hot cup of tea!
