| INGREDIENTS | Toor Dhal - 1½ tblsp
Dhania - 2 tsp
Red chillies - 6 nos
Hing - a pinch
Bengal gram dhal - 1 ½ tsp
pudina - 1 small bunch
onions - 2 nos
coconut - 1 - 2 tsp
Tamarind - little
pepper Jeera powder - 1 tsp | METHOD | 1. Cook Toor dhal separately. Fry dhania, red chillies, hing, bengal gram dhal with little oil for few minutes. Remove from kadai and keep aside.
2. Add pudina leaves and cut onions and fry for 2 minutes. Now grind all the ingredients along with coconut.
3. Then add the grinded mixture in tamarind water along with hing and pepper - jeera powder and bring to boil. Serve hot with rice and papad.
4. It is a very good appetizer too. |
