CHICKEN PULAV Recipe | Main Course Recipe by Madhura |
| INGREDIENTS | Chicken ½ kg
3 katori Basmati rice
Ginger - garlic
Red dry kashmiri chillies
2 medium onions
1 big tomato
Whole garam masala
Salt oil and ghee
3.5 katoris water
Juice of ½ lemon | METHOD | 1. Grind all the items except rice, oil, chicken and salt.
2. Mix half the grinded masala with chicken.
3. Take ghee and oil in cooker, add the ground masala and tej patta, fry till it leaves oil.
4. Add chicken. Stir till it gives out an aroma.
5. Now add rice, salt and lemon juice. Stir it again till the rice mixes well with the masala and chicken.
6. Add boiled water. Close the cooker lid for three whistles.
7. Serve hot topped with fried onion and mint leaves. (It's good for kids as it is not very spicy). |
