MUESLI BAHAR Recipe | Indian Sweets Recipe by ANU HANGAL |
| INGREDIENTS | Museli (The ones available in supemarkets, with dry fruits) 250 gms
2.5 cup of sugar
1 cup of Milk
1 small cup Ghee
2 tsp gram Flour for thickening | METHOD | 1. Powder the Museli to a fine powder in a blender.
2. Heat some ghee in a Kadai.
3. To this, add the powdered Museli and fry for few minutes till it startssmelling good.
4. Add sugar and keep stirring.
5. Now add the gram flour till the whole mixture is of semi-solid consistency.
6. At this stage, you have a choice for making it in to a laddu kind of sweet or Burfi type. If it is going to be Laddu kind of sweet, Then allow it to cool.
7. Grease your hand with a little ghee and start making laddus. If you want the Burfi type, after the mixture becomes semi-solid, add the milk and keep stirring.
8. After some time, it will start becoming thicker.
9. Switch off the gas and pour in to a tray or plate which has edges greased with ghee.
10. Allow it to cool for 2-3 hrs and cut it to your desired shape and garnish with almond slices.
11. This is very healthy, fibrous and tasty sweet. |
