VEGETABLE BREAD FINGERS Recipe | Starters and Snacks Recipe by Gayatri Lele |
| INGREDIENTS | 5-6 bread slices
½ cup boiled and grated potato
½ cup grated carrot
½ cup finely chopped french beans
½ cup finely chopped cauliflower
¼ cup finely chopped capsicum(simla mirch)
¼ cup grated cheese
3-4 finely chopped green chilies
2 tsp chilli sauce
1 tsp plain flour
1 tsp cornflour
Salt
| METHOD |
1. In a bowl mix all vegetables. Add grated cheese.
2. Add chopped chillies, chilli sauce and salt.
3. Add plain flour and cornflour to it and mix this mixture properly and keep aside.
4. Take one slice of bread. Cut vertically to make 3 pieces.
5. Apply approximately 1 table spoon mixture over 1 piece.
6. Do it for all bread pieces.
7. Keep all pieces in preheated oven on 150 0.C for 5-7 min until its color changes to golden brown.
8. OR you can fry them in hot oil.
9. If you are controlling your diet, you could bake it in an oven instead of frying.
10. Serve with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
