LABABDAR PANEER Recipe | Main Course Recipe by Smita Nadgir |
| INGREDIENTS | 150 gm cottage cheese
50 gm refined oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
50 gm chopped onion
50 gm chopped tomato
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp ground cumin seeds
1/4 tsp kasoori methi
25 gms white butter
50 gms fresh cream
Salt to taste
Garnish
Chopped coriander
Shredded ginger
Sliced tomato (peeled)
| METHOD |
1. Heat oil in a pan. Saute jeera and chopped onion in the pan until brown.
2. Add chopped tomatoes and stir well.
3. Pour some tomato puree over it for color.
4. Cook over low flame for a minute.
5. Add the jeera powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, and a dash of kasoori methi.
6. Stir in the paneer. Cook over a low flame for 5-10 minutes.
7. Remove from flame. Pour the butter and cream over the top.
8. Garnish with shredded ginger, chopped coriander and sliced tomato peel.
9. Serve hot.
