MAJEDAAR BAINGAN Recipe | Main Course Recipe by Smita Nadgir |
| INGREDIENTS | 4OO gms thick long brinjal (baingan)
4 green chillies finely sliced
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 2/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp haldi
1 1/2 tsp amchoor powder
Half cup oil
2 tsp ginger sliced
| METHOD | 1. Mix all the dry masalas together.
2. Make slits in the baigans, fill the masala equally in the baigan.
3. Heat oil in an iron karahi, drop the baigan into the karahi, stir gently.
4. Cover till cooked and they are tender and done.
5. Serve hot, garnished with ginger slices and the chillies slices.
