MUSHROOM GRAVY Recipe | Main Course Recipe by Jayashree |
| INGREDIENTS | 1 pack sliced mushrooms
1 big onion
2 tomatoes
Ginger & garlic 3 flakes
Kulambu podi ¾ tsp
Turmeric a pinch
Salt
Mustard seeds
Oil
Corrainder leaves | METHOD | 1. Cut the mushrooms in small pieces. Wash and drain fully. In a pan pour 3 tsp oil, put little mustard seeds. When it splutters, add sliced onion and fry till golden brown.
2. Then add finely sliced ginger, sliced garlic and fry. Then add cut tomatoes and fry till mashed. Add turmeric and salt and fry it.
3. Add sliced mushrooms and put kulambu podi or sambaar podi, Add little water about ¼ cup and cook till done for about 10 mins.
4. Garnish with corrainder leaves. Serve with rice and also with roti. |
