PANEER LABABDAR (PANEER IN TAMOTO GRAVY) Recipe | Main Course Recipe by Neeti |
| INGREDIENTS | Paneer- 250 gms (cut in cubes)
Oil- 3Tbsp
Onions finely Chopped- 2 large size
Tamoto finely Chopped- 2 large size
Tomatoes for puree- 3 large size
Ginger,Garlic & Green Chillies paste-2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds- 1 Tsp
Carom Seeds (Ajwain)-1 Tsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder- 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala- 1/2 Tsp
Dhania Powder- 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Powder- 1/2 Tsp
Kasoori Methi- 1/2 Tbsp
White Butter or Malia- 2 Tbsp
Fresh Cream/ Amul Cream- 4 Tbsp
Salt- To taste
Fresh Coriander- 2 Tbsp
Ginger Shredded- 1- 1/2 Tsp
Sliced Tomato-1 for Garnishing
| METHOD | 1.Take a pan & heat oil in it. Now, add cumin and carom seeds to it & sauté till it start cracking. Add ginger, garlic & green chilli paste, sauté for a minute.
2.Add chopped onions & sauté till it turns golden brown.
3.Now, add chopped tomatoes & stir well.
4.Now, add tomato puree over it & cook on low flame for about 2 minutes.
5.Now, add cumin powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala, dhania powder & kasuri methi. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Then, add white butter.
6.After this, add paneer cubes & cook for about 8-10 minutes on low flame.
7.Remove from cook-top when ready & pour cream over it.
8.Now, garnish with shredded ginger, chopped coriander & sliced tomato peel.
Paneer Lababdar is ready to serve.
