HULIAVALAKKI Recipe | Main Course Recipe by radha |
| INGREDIENTS | Poha- 200gm
Tamarind- 10gm
Turmeric-1tsp
Jaggery-4-5tsp
Salt as per taste
Hing- 1 pinch
Grated fresh coconut
Chopped corainder
G.chillies 4-5
peanuts
bengal gram
Black gram
Mustard
Oil 8-10tsp for seasoning
| METHOD | Take thick poha and make it to semolina(rawa) in a mixer then add turmeric, jaggery, hing and salt to it and mix it wet adding thick tamarind juice(do not add plain water)
Allow it to soak in the tamarind juice for more than 40 min.
Heat a pan with oil and add mustard, grams, peanut, g.chillies, curry leaves and fry till golden brown. Then add the soaked poha content and fresh grated coconut to it and fry it in low flame for 5 min.(do not add salt as it is added earlier)
Serve it with sweet curds. |
