IDLI PODI WITH SPLIT CHICK PEAS Recipe | Chutney/Dips Recipe by Ramalaxmi Tatavarti |
| INGREDIENTS | 1 cup of split chick peas
5 long red chillis
8-10 curry leaves
1 tbs of oil
salt to taste. | METHOD | In a small pan, heat a table spoon of oil and fry curry leaves and red chillis well. Let it cool for couple of minutes and empty into the dry grinder. Add the split peas to the dry grinder and with the required amount of salt, grind it to a smooth powder.
When serving, serve the powder with Ghee(Indian butter). |
