SHRIMP THOKKU Recipe | Main Course Recipe by vidhyakrishnan |
| INGREDIENTS | peeled shrimp-1pound
small white onion-1
small tomato-2
slitted green chilli-2
chilli powder-1/2tsp
salt-1/4 tsp
corriander powder-1/4tsp
turmeric powder-1/4tsp
fennel seeds-1/4tsp
splitted black gram-1/4tsp
curry leaves -20
oil-1 table spoon
| METHOD | cut the onion and tomato in to small pieces.heat the oil in the pan add fennel seeds,black gram,curry leaves.add onion,tomato,chilli and fry until tomato mash.add turmeric powder,chilli powder,corriander powder,salt saute it for 5 min add shrimp saute for 5 min and add 1 cup of water close the lid for 10 min in low flame.after 10 min open the lid allow the water to evapourate.when the masala and shrimp stick together switch off the stove.serve with rice. |
